Dr. Haider joined the Adult Clinic at the Barbara Davis Center in January 2023, bringing with her many years of clinical experience managing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Her primary interest is in exploring the challenges of managing diabetes in older diabetic patients, especially concerning introducing new technologies in patients with vision, mobility and dementia issues, and optimizing care delivery. She is also interested in assessing healthcare delivery inequities in minorities and improving accessibility to healthcare for these populations.
She is currently working in conjunction with the Pediatric Clinic at the BDC on standardizing workflow processes for transitioning patients to the Adult Clinic. She is also currently an Investigator on two multicenter trials for evolving therapies/technologies for Type 1 Diabetes.
