Hosted annually in Keystone, CO, this conference is designed to help healthcare providers caring for patients with diabetes, including endocrinologists/diabetes specialists, internists, pediatricians, family physicians, physician assistants, medical residents and fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, and certified diabetes educators. During the course of this four-day conference we will emphasize the challenges in day-to-day management of diabetes and practical ways to overcome those hurdles, specifically using new technologies and therapeutic options. T1D Prevention Symposium |
This annual symposium, held on the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical Campus, addresses the essential components of follow-up and monitoring for children who screen positive for islet autoantibodies. Spanning two days, the program covers immune markers, markers of dysglycemia, psychological support, and early diabetes education. The symposium also highlights updates from current general population screening programs, such as ASK and TrialNet, and reviews potential challenges that providers and the general public may face regarding screening and management of T1D. EPIC Diabetes Conference |
The Empowering Patients for Individualized Care conference is held annually in Denver, CO. Sponsored by the the Childhood Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center, this event aims to provide a one-day interactive event for individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes as well as their families, friends, and caregivers. The conference provides individuals with an opportunity to connect with some of Colorado's top endocrinologists and diabetes experts as well as other patients and families in order to develop a broader network of support and foster a stronger diabetes community in Colorado.
