Dr. Triolo joined the Pediatric Division in 2019 as a K12 scholar. She loves clinical care of children with diabetes and the opportunity to work with patients and their families. Her research interests are focused on the development of islet autoimmunity and beta cell dysfunction in children with type 1 diabetes. She is a Co-Investigator on the BDC Prevention team and a member of the Russ Lab at the Barbara Davis Center. Additionally, she collaborates clinically with the Children’s Hospital of Colorado Pediatric Gastroenterology Division to care for children with chronic pancreatitis and islet dysfunction.
