Laurie Lemmel has been associated with the Department of Family since May 2005 as a Program Coordinator with Swedish Family Medicine Residency which at the time was part of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In June 2018 she transferred to her current position as Program Coordinator for the Sports Medicine Fellowship. She is responsible for accreditation compliance, recruitment management, onboarding of new fellows, didactic scheduling, budgets etc. for the four fellowship tracks: Primary Care, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine & Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation.

Brittany Manansala joined the Department of Family Medicine in October of 2024. Her role as a Communication Specialist includes internal communications, short story writing, content creation, event coordination, website management and various admin duties for the Communications Program Manager. Brittany graduated with her MA in Communications from the University of Colorado Denver in 2024. She received her BA in Communications from Cal State University San Marcos in 2020 and has her AA in Humanities and Language Arts. She has experience working on projects with non-profit organizations that involved strategic planning, social media management, video editing, content creation, advertisement and more.

Stephanie Mitchell has been with the Department of Family Medicine since July of 2000 and currently serves as a Senior Administrative Support Coordinator; she provides administrative support to the DEIA team, and is the administrative assistant of the Vice Chair of DEIA. Stephanie also supports many groups and individuals here at the DFM and is a part of the department's DFM Administrative Team. She manages procurement card requests, is the Approving Official (AO) for procurement card expenses and expense reports, and provides expense related trainings for our department.

Vanessa Owen has been a Senior Research Services Professional for the Department of Family Medicine since September of 2020. She works as the Evaluation Project Manager for the CIBH+ (Colorado Integrated Behavioral Health Plus) program, serves on the Community Engagement Program team, and acts as the Community Health Curriculum Coordinator for the CU Family Medicine Residency Program. Vanessa has an MDiv with a focus in Justice Studies from the Iliff School of Theology. Formerly, she worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado for 14 years - first as a Chaplain where she provided support to patients, families, and clinical staff around issues related to trauma, grief/loss, ethics, and resiliency and then as a Community Health Program Manager with the Child Health Clinic and the Child Health Advocacy Institute.

Jessica Parascando joined the Department of Family Medicine in August 2023 as a Research Services Program Manager. She works for the Practice Innovation Program and the Primary Care Diabetes Lab. She has a master’s degree in public health, as well as over 15 years of research experience working on a variety of health topics, including diabetes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and reading.
Britney is a Senior Research Professional with the Primary Care Diabetes Lab. She has previously worked with the CReST team at the CCTSI and with the Barbara Davis Center as a Student Research Assistant. She graduated in 2017 with Bachelor's in Human Nutrition/Pre-med and Biological Sciences from Oklahoma State University. Britney's father has had Type One Diabetes since before she was born which shaped her education and career path into what it is today. For the past ten years, Britney volunteers her time in the summers to a children's diabetes camp as a Senior Medical Counselor. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and hanging out with her husband and dogs named Lemon and Potato.

Michelle Pritzel has been a Clinical Affairs Program Manager with the department since 09/2021. She supports our clinical faculty practicing in our Family Medicine clinics. Michelle graduated with her MBA in 2015 from Colorado Christian University. She also has her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Much of her healthcare career (24 years) has been in clinic operations supporting all sizes of clinical teams that provide exemplary care to patients. Michelle also has experience with clinic acquisitions as well as the building from the ground up of several DeNovo clinics.

Alison Reidmohr has worked in communications and health policy for more than 10 years in Montana and Colorado. After moving to Colorado in 2017, she started work as the tobacco communications strategist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, leading statewide media campaigns, including those promoting the Colorado QuitLine and Tobacco Free Colorado. She was promoted to deputy communications director and led CDPHE’s COVID-19 prevention marketing efforts through 2020. Her focus and expertise lie in policy and legislative communications, communications strategy, and public health marketing. In 2022, she earned her master of arts degree in communication from the University of Colorado, Denver, after conducting original research on Colorado’s digital contact tracing application, CO Exposure Notifications. She works full time for the Farley Health Policy Center, for which she leads all communications activities.
