Brittany Manansala joined the Department of Family Medicine in October of 2024. Her role as a Communication Specialist includes internal communications, short story writing, content creation, event coordination, website management and various admin duties for the Communications Program Manager. Brittany graduated with her MA in Communications from the University of Colorado Denver in 2024. She received her BA in Communications from Cal State University San Marcos in 2020 and has her AA in Humanities and Language Arts. She has experience working on projects with non-profit organizations that involved strategic planning, social media management, video editing, content creation, advertisement and more. 

Venus is the Associate Director of Clinical Admin and has her BS.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, Lisa Martinez specializes in providing high-level support, managing complex schedules, and planning events for senior leadership teams. Lisa's background includes extensive experience in budgeting, staff supervision, and coordinating evaluations for medical residency programs. Throughout her career, she has supported executives, coordinated meetings, and organized events of varying scales, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to organizational guidelines. Currently, as Executive Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado, she manages a variety of Administrative matters and contribute to the department's success with dedication.

Shannon McWilliams, MA, is an experienced healthcare administrator specializing in integrated behavioral health and value-based care. She has experience overseeing multiple Medicaid supplement funded programs (UPL) and she collaborates across departments to enhance program operations and financial sustainability. Currently pursuing an MBA in Health Administration, she combines expertise in psychology, finance, and healthcare strategy to drive impactful, patient-centered initiatives.

Ajah is a seasoned professional with six years of experience in coordination, event planning, and community outreach at three of the University of Colorado’s campuses. She values the importance of critical conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, class, and navigating intersectional identities and networks across national and international diasporas. Graduating from the University of Colorado Denver in 2023 with a BA in Ethnic Studies (Summa Kum Laude) and minor in International Studies, Ajah brings a nationally and internationally informed approach to community engagement and health equity. In 2021 Ajah was awarded the Rosa Parks Diversity Award for her commitment to serving her community and creating opportunities for dialogue across identities and power structures. Ajah supports the Center to Advance Community Health with business functions and is the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director.

Robert Mesec is the IT Manager and has his BS, CIS, and CMS.

Stephanie Mitchell has been with the Department of Family Medicine since July of 2000 and currently serves as a Senior Administrative Support Coordinator; she provides administrative support to the DEIA team, and is the administrative assistant of the Vice Chair of DEIA. Stephanie also supports many groups and individuals here at the DFM and is a part of the department's DFM Administrative Team. She manages procurement card requests, is the Approving Official (AO) for procurement card expenses and expense reports, and provides expense related trainings for our department.

Jessica Parascando joined the Department of Family Medicine in August 2023 as a Research Services Program Manager. She works for the Practice Innovation Program and the Primary Care Diabetes Lab. She has a master’s degree in public health, as well as over 15 years of research experience working on a variety of health topics, including diabetes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and reading.

My name is Luis Perez and I'm excited to join the Clinical Affairs Team as a Billing and Coding Specialist as of August 2025. I have over four years of experience as a Physician Coding Specialist and over nine years working in revenue cycle. I hold certifications in CPC, CPMA and CFPC. I'm passionate about clinical coding, reviewing and helping improve processes to make things more efficient and compliant.

Michelle Pritzel has been a Clinical Affairs Program Manager with the department since 09/2021.  She supports our clinical faculty practicing in our Family Medicine clinics.  Michelle graduated with her MBA in 2015 from Colorado Christian University. She also has her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Much of her healthcare career (24 years) has been in clinic operations supporting all sizes of clinical teams that provide exemplary care to patients.  Michelle also has experience with clinic acquisitions as well as the building from the ground up of several DeNovo clinics. 

Lauren Quintana received her bachelors degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016 and later received her Masters Degree in Health Care Administration at Regis University in 2018. She has worked with the department since 2018.

Alison Reidmohr has worked in communications and health policy for more than 10 years in Montana and Colorado. After moving to Colorado in 2017, she started work as the tobacco communications strategist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, leading statewide media campaigns, including those promoting the Colorado QuitLine and Tobacco Free Colorado. She was promoted to deputy communications director and led CDPHE’s COVID-19 prevention marketing efforts through 2020. Her focus and expertise lie in policy and legislative communications, communications strategy, and public health marketing. In 2022, she earned her master of arts degree in communication from the University of Colorado, Denver, after conducting original research on Colorado’s digital contact tracing application, CO Exposure Notifications. She works full time for the Farley Health Policy Center, for which she leads all communications activities.

Moved here from Florida for my husband’s job. I have 3 children, 2 grandchildren with one on the way. I have been a medical assistant since November 1994, worked for Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL in Same Day Surgery/Inpatient Surgery, then at Advent Health were I did Same Day Surgery, Preop Testing, and then worked for Family Practice. I joined UC Health in July of 2019 and loved it. I then had an opportunity to apply for Whole Person Pain Service and was given the opportunity to be part of this wonderful team. 

Jeanne has been with the Department of Family Medicine and CU GME since 2011. She was Project Coordinator at Rose Family Medicine Residency in Denver and transferred to the Anschutz campus in June 2018 to be the GME Program Coordinator for residency programs within the School of Public Health that partnered with DFM, She currently is GME Program Coordinator for the Preventive Medicine program and works in DFM as part of the DFM Admin Jira team and other tasks.
