Our pediatric neurosurgeons are part of a busy clinical service and utilize the latest technology to treat a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions.
Our neurosurgeons are leaders in international organizations and research. The Hankinson Lab focuses on craniopharyngioma research, a complex pediatric brain tumor. The Alexander Lab studies childhood epilepsy, looking for new ways to treat focal cortical dysplasia, the most common cause of surgically-treated epilepsy. The Alshareef Lab studies the complement cascade in post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus. Ariana Barkley, MD, leads a robust global neurosurgery initiative.
The pediatric neurosurgery fellowship offers provides a rigorous learning experience in a busy clinical service at a premier regional referral center.
