The spinal neurosurgery division treats a wide range of injuries and diseases of the spine, collaborating with experts across campus to provide the best comprehensive care in Colorado. Our neurosurgeons treat spine tumors, adult scoliosis, and spine deformity, and CU Anschutz is the only medical center in the country with a dedicated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak program.

Neurosurgeons are uniquely trained to perform procedures inside the lining of the spinal canal. Our spinal neurosurgeons utilize minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgery, and state-of-the-art navigation technology.
