Colorado Women's Health Collaborative

This rotation will give interns the opportunity to work in a small but bustling non-profit/private practice environment. Colorado Women’s Collaborative Healthcare (CWCH) is the clinical arm of Integrated Family Wellness Training and Consulting, a Colorado 510c3 non-profit organization. Interns will have the opportunity to work both in the clinic and to develop educational materials, consult, and participate in any research that the greater nonprofit may be involved in. In the clinic, interns will focus on building skill in neurodivergence testing with a population of high-functioning women, girls and gender diverse folx. We assess for ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, differential diagnosis, and also complete pre-bariatric evaluations. Interns will take part in these evaluations, from the intake interview through the feedback session. There will be an opportunity to see patients for therapy as well, although the focus of the rotation will be assessment. There may be an opportunity to shadow or participate in animal-assisted therapy as well.

CWCH is a small but mighty team of women practitioners serving women, girls and gender diverse folx. We practice both assessment and therapy through a fiercely feminist and liberation lens and provide therapeutic assessments focused on helping our population forge a path forward.
