Griselda Peña-Jackson
Executive Director
Griselda Peña-Jackson serves as Executive Director of the AWC, where she leads the vision, strategy, and execution of initiatives focused on improving health, well-being, and economic opportunity in Aurora.
She brings extensive experience leading cross-sector initiatives that span healthcare, public systems, philanthropy, and community-based organizations. Her work centers on aligning institutional partners and resources to develop and implement coordinated strategies that address complex community and systems-level challenges.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles focused on organizational strategy, partnership development, and multi-stakeholder execution. She is recognized for her ability to translate shared priorities into structured implementation and sustain alignment across diverse partners and institutional stakeholders.
The Aurora Wellness Community Health Center (AWCHC) focus on helping neighbors in Aurora. This includes families, working adults, seniors, and people from different cultures. However, this doesn’t limit who can get care at AWCHC. They welcome all who need their services—which include, but are not limited to:
