Cat Halliwell is a Research Services Principal Professional in the CU Department of Family Medicine and Director of Operations for the IRIS program, which develops trustworthy AI risk models for primary care, leveraging co-design, agile development, and real-world clinical data to build transparent tools designed for point-of-care clinical decision-making. She leads strategic planning, institutional partnerships, and cross-disciplinary initiatives that bring together clinicians, patients, researchers, and technical teams to create tools that are usable, accessible, and impactful. With over eight years of experience managing operations for multi-site research studies, Ms. Halliwell specializes in building scalable infrastructure and translational solutions that help practices adopt innovative care models and improve patient outcomes. She holds a BA in History from the University of Colorado Boulder.
