O’Neill, Brent – Associate Professor

 Key areas of focus: pediatric epilepsy, hydrocephalus, brain injury

 

Dr. O’Neill’s clinical and research interests include all pediatric-neurosurgery conditions with a particular focus on pediatric epilepsy surgery, spina bifida (in particular, fetal surgery for myelomeningocele), hydrocephalus, and trauma.  His current work focuses on the imaging findings of abusive head trauma with particular attention to diffusion changes over time which may unravel the pathophysiology of this unique brain injury.
