Event Description: In-person lecture-based course given by experts across multiple disciplines including otolaryngology, respiratory therapy, and anesthesiology. This course is designed to provide an overview of complex airways including tracheostomy and laryngectomy. Topics will include key differences between tracheostomy and laryngectomy, precautions for each, cares, supplies, and emergency management.
CME and ASHA credit are provided for this course.
Learning Objectives:

This course offers 0.4 ASHA CEUs (intermediate level; professional area)
Attendees seeking education credit must attend sessions in full and must complete the course self-assessment and learning assessment and return them to Vicki Muscatello in person to receive ASHA CEUs.
