The University of Colorado Sinus Center is the premier center of excellence in the Rocky Mountain region for the comprehensive medical and surgical management of patients with diseases of the nose and sinus. Our expertise includes a broad range of disorders from sinusitis and nasal polyps to complicated tumors​ of the nose, sinus, and skull base utilizing state-of-the-art minimally-invasive surgical techniques.

Our group is actively involved in research of the following areas:

  • Understanding the mechanisms of inflammatory sinus disease
  • Cystic fibrosis, fungal sinusitis, nasal polyposis
  • Exploring genetic and molecular factors in chronic sinusitis
  • Novel surgical techniques for approaching the orbit and skull base
  • Minimally-invasive diagnostic and surgical approaches for sinusitis and skull base tumors
  • Collaborative approach with physicians and researchers at the University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Colorado School of Medicine, and National Jewish Health.
  • Development of collaborative team approach to minimally-invasive skull base surgery utilizing neurosurgeons, orbital surgeons, and our endoscopic rhinologic surgeons.
