What are your favorite things to do in the Denver area? Denver is still a great place to live even if you're not super outdoorsy like myself. There is a great restaurant and nightlife scene fueled by a huge influx of people in their 20's and 30's, and numerous cultural attractions to keep you occupied in your free time. If you do need an escape from the city, the mountains are only an hour away. Finally, Denver has all the trappings of a great metropolitan area at a generally more affordable price than what you would find in a coastal equivalent.

What is the biggest strength of our program? The program's greatest strength is arguably the breadth and depth of our clinical training. I think few other programs in this country offer such fantastic faculty representation in each subspecialty. We also get a wealth of different clinical training environments that adds considerably to our education (a busy inner city trauma experience, a world class pediatric hospital, a nationally recognized quaternary care center, and a brand new VA facility). Importantly, Denver is the only academic ENT program for hundreds of miles, and so the turf battles that many other urban programs sometimes deal with do not exist here.
