The University of Colorado Department of Radiology is thrilled to announce that Yubin Miao, PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology, was awarded his first R01 from the National Cancer Institute entitled “Novel Receptor-Targeting Peptides for Melanoma Therapy”.  “Being awarded an R01 is a substantial research achievement and one that is well-deserved” said Jody Tanabe, MD, Professor and Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Radiology.  Dr. Miao, who also serves as Director of Radiopharmaceutical Science, joined the University of Colorado Radiology faculty in 2015.  Dr. Miao (L) received a plaque for his achievements at a recent department meeting from Dr. Tanabe and Gerald Dodd, III, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiology.
