Our department is home to the only PET/MR scanner in Colorado, a cutting-edge tool that allows us to provide more precise diagnoses and personalized treatment plans for patients with epilepsy, neurodegenerative disease, and some cancers. Additionally, our collaboration with the CU Sports Performance Center enhances our ability to offer specialized care for athletes and active individuals.

We've Taken the Pledge
Radiologists and medical physicists in the Department of Radiology have taken the pledge to Image Gently. Sponsored by the Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging, this campaign reminds us that children are more sensitive to radiation than adults and we need to pay particular attention to our scan exposures when imaging children. To that end, our staff has created an ongoing review process for pediatric CT exams that assures that we are indeed imaging gently.
