Combined Pediatric Radiology & Research Fellowship

Combined Pediatric Radiology & Research Fellowship

Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) offers a one-year Combined Pediatric Radiology and Research fellowship to outstanding candidates who have successfully completed a pediatric radiology fellowship, including those on the four-year alternate pathway, or the 15-month pediatric radiology pathway during Diagnostic Radiology residency.

This fellowship prepares the next generation of exceptional pediatric radiologists through a year of immersive, hands-on learning. Fellows gain expertise in all imaging modalities, guided by close mentorship from leading faculty, while participating in rigorous clinical training, focused educational objectives, and collaborative multidisciplinary conferences.

In addition to outstanding clinical experiences, fellows benefit from dedicated research time—one week in every four-week block—supported by robust resources and expert mentorship. This structure empowers fellows to advance personal research interests while strengthening their pediatric radiology practice, ultimately enhancing their expertise and impact in the field.

Our program is built on a commitment to professionalism, lifelong learning, and a respectful, welcoming environment where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive, contribute, and grow as physicians.

Our mission is to prepare compassionate, highly skilled physicians who deliver the highest standard of imaging care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
