Nam Lee, MD

PGY3 - T32 Trainee

Hometown: Busan, South Korea

Professional Interests: Currently, I’m undecided on a subspecialty but hoping to continue research down the line. My research is in otology and I’m hoping to get a clearer picture with more experience.

Hobbies:  I like to keep my hands busy by playing the piano and knitting in the winter. I also like to read, fiction more than non-fiction, and take various workout classes.  As far as my outdoor hobbies go, I enjoy hiking, occasional skiing, and laying out in the sun.

What are your favorite things to do in the Denver area? I love taking advantage of seemingly endless hiking trails which is usually followed by exploring various small mountain towns. With 300 days of sun, even when I don’t have the chance to drive up to the mountains, enjoying the views of the mountains with a beer comes close.

What is the biggest strength of our program? Our exposure to subspecialties is very diverse, which ultimately makes us well-rounded and well-trained otolaryngologist. But I think ultimately, the people in the program are our greatest strength.
