Innovative, Flexible Program

The University of Colorado Department of Neurology and Neurohospitalist-Neurovascular Section has a long and continuous history of innovation in clinical excellence, education, and research.  Our Neurohospitalist Fellowship Program extends this legacy of innovation.

Personally-tailored mentorship and exceptional schedule flexibility balances professional growth opportunities with core educational and clinical experiences.   Fellows are exposed to a diverse patient population at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Center and affiliate telehealth and telestroke sites located throughout the Mountain West.  A carefully curated didactic program promotes dynamic learning across clinical science, research methodology, medical education, and professionalism-of-neurohospitalism domains.   Wide-ranging clinical expertise and direct, mentored connection to all levels of research, education, and administrative leadership are provided by a highly-engaged Section Faculty.  The result is an exceptionally well-resourced Fellowship Program centered upon mentorship and personalized to each Fellow’s individual aspirations.  Come and experience our answer to “Why a Neurohospitalist Fellowship?”

International and Foreign Medical Graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.  Visa sponsorship and support is available.

The University of Colorado Neurohospitalist Fellowship Program is accredited by The Neurohospitalist Society (https://neurohospitalistsociety.org/Accreditation/prospective-fellows.php).
