Vascular Medicine Fellowship

The University of Colorado is proud to offer a Vascular Medicine Fellowship supported by the William R. Hiatt Vascular Medicine Fellowship Endowment at CPC Clinical Research. This fellowship is a one-year training experience that provides diverse clinical and research opportunities.

Vascular Medicine fellows in this program rotate through Vascular Medicine, Vascular Surgery, the vascular diagnostic laboratory, and other relevant specialties, including Rheumatology, Hematology, and Wound Care. Clinical training spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, and graduating fellows are eligible to sit for the American Board of Vascular Medicine and the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation certification examinations.

Fellows also have the opportunity to engage in clinical research through CPC Clinical Research, the affiliated academic research organization on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Academic opportunities include participation in cardiovascular clinical trials—particularly in the field of peripheral artery disease—as well as presenting at national meetings and contributing to manuscript development.

For additional information, interested candidates should contact the fellowship program director, Kevin Rogers, MD, MSc, or the Executive Director of CPC Clinical Research, Marc Bonaca, MD, MPH.
