The University of Colorado Genetic Cardiomyopathy program provides comprehensive genetic services for patients with genetic (inherited) cardiomyopathies. Established in 2001, our Adult Medical Genetics and Genetics Cardiomyopathy Program is the only such adult-genetics-cardiovascular program of its kind in the state of Colorado. We also serve patients from other states in the Rocky Mountain region. Our services include genetic evaluation, genetic testing, genetic counseling, coordinating testing of at risk family members, and evaluation of rare or ‘mystery’ diagnoses.

In addition to patient care, we also provide education to increase awareness and understanding of genetic conditions and how to find and access clinical trials for genetic heart diseases.
