Hobbies
I love to hike, explore national parks, dabble in amateur astronomy, and ski. When I'm not outside, I'm probably tending to some new indoor plant or creating/modifying a freshwater ecosystem fish tank.
What are you looking forward to doing in the Denver area?
My wife and I are big on outdoor recreational activities, so we look forward to easy access to skiing, proximity to world-class hiking/camping, and joining many of our friends in Denver.
What did you do before residency?
During medical school and while completing my MPH degree, I worked with the Missouri Public Health Institute (previously MOCPHE) on a project aimed to address the increased incidence of syphilis and congenital syphilis in the state of Missouri. Prior to medical school, I worked as a lab technician for a neurobiology lab. Before that, I used to teach kids how to sail back in Chicago!
