Our support group for parents of children that have survived a stroke normally meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 6 – 7:30 pm in the University Physicians Inc. building on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The group also meets for other family activities.
These meetings are open to families of children of all ages and all types of stroke. Your child does not need to be seen at our stroke clinic to join the meetings.
Our social workers and pediatric stroke staff are on hand to provide support. Typically, we hold an informal presentation and allow the parents to socialize. Dinner and childcare are provided at each in-person meeting. Due to COVID-19, all meetings are held on Zoom until further notice.
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm via Zoom
Please join us on zoom for our first meeting together since the pandemic began! We will meet for about an hour and have time to talk about our experiences over the past few months. We will not break out into age groups this month.
