Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG)
Dedicated to improving the knowledge and skill sets of the next generation of emergency physicians
Founded in 2004, the Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is a student-directed group of those interested in learning about Emergency Medicine, including students from the University of Colorado School of Medicine (PA program and MD program), the CU College of Nursing, the Skaggs School of Pharmacy, Red Rocks Community College PA Program, and Rocky Vista University School of Medicine MD program.
EMIG is run by our annually-elected steering committee who arrange for many different events throughout the year. We have monthly lunch lectures delivered by EM specialists, skills night labs, and leadership opportunities for anyone interested. Lunch lectures are open to anyone interested in the topic, with no membership required. Priority registration is given to EMIG members.
