The Biophysics Shared Resource Facility provides shared instrumentation, expert consultation, and user training for rigorous biophysical and biochemical characterization of biomolecular systems. The facility helps investigators select appropriate methods, design experiments, collect high-quality data, troubleshoot assays, and analyze and interpret results.
The Core supports binding and interaction analysis, thermodynamic measurements, structural and conformational characterization, macromolecular assembly and sample-quality assessment, and single-molecule force and fluorescence spectroscopy. Assisted-use and trained-user self-service workflows are available depending on the instrument, project, and user experience.
Prospective users are encouraged to contact the Facility Manager for an initial consultation before scheduling experiments or training.
