New Faculty Career Development Workshop

The annual New Faculty Career Development Workshop is an all-day program designed to welcome and help support the newest members of our faculty. At the Workshop, participants receive important information about the administrative structure of the School and the regulatory environment. Participants also have an opportunity to meet the institution’s key leaders and to learn more about the medical school curriculum, how to build careers as educators, the criteria for promotion, the support systems that are available and tips for academic success.  The curriculum for this workshop is designed especially for Assistant Professors who are in their first or second year, but this information is also helpful for all new Instructors or Sr. Instructors who have academic responsibilities and will be seeking promotion at a later stage in their career.
