Courtney Oser

Student Assistant (she/her/hers)
Courtney Oser is a student at Colorado State University, where she is a part of the honors program and working towards her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with plans to pursue medicine. She also is minoring in Spanish. Both her dad and her twin sister have type 1 diabetes, so she has seen firsthand the daily struggles that come with living with type one diabetes. She is passionate about helping to make the lives of people living with diabetes easier, specifically through new technologies.

Cassandra Lyon

Student Assistant, (she/her/hers)
Cassandra Lyon is a 3rd year student at Colorado State University where she is working towards her bachelors in Health and Exercise Science. After CSU, she plans on attending Physical Therapy school and becoming a licensed physical therapist. Growing up, she would often visit her dad at his place of work, where he worked as a family physician. This inspired her to choose the science route as she entered into college. She is passionate about using science to improve people's lives and values the impact scientific research can have.
