Research

Research Activities:

- Deciphering the mechanisms underlying increased risk of brain metastases in young women.

-Elucidating the tumor intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms underlying brain colonization by anti-estrogen resistant ER+ breast cancer.

-Elucidating the function of IL13RA2 in promoting proliferation of brain metastasis and applying novel IL13RA2 CAR-T therapies to decrease advanced breast metastatic cancer.

-Defining mechanisms of radiation-induced toxicity during treatment of brain metastasis.

-Developing novel patient-derived xenograft models from breast cancer brain metastases.
