Festivities were held over a three-day period, including the PT Alumni Association Graduation Party on Thursday, December 14th, the Convocation Ceremony on December 15th, and Commencement on December 16th.

On Friday, October 6, 2023, the CU Physical Therapy Program celebrated it's 75th Anniversary at the Anschutz Health and Sciences Building. Over 150 people were in attendance. There was a cocktail reception, followed by a formal program featuring speakers from across the CU PT Program and Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Jandel Allen-Davis, President and CEO of Craig Hospital, delivered the keynote address, and Dr. Roderick Nairn received the Mary S. Lawrence Award. A short documentary detailing the history of the CU PT Program was also debuted.

Colorado was selected as 1 of 3 states for the “Early Childhood Developmental Health Systems: Evidence to Impact” award. Sites will focus on strategies that “put families and equity first”. Dr. Dawn Magnusson will be serving in a consulting role and will be expanding the work that has been done around shared decision making to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of a statewide, comprehensive roadmap for early childhood developmental promotion, screening, and intervention that improves outcomes and reduces disparities for historically underserved/marginalized communities.
