Dr. Rebecca Dehne is a graduate of the University of Colorado DPT program. Following completion of the Faculty Residency at the University of Colorado in 2025, she joined the CU faculty, teaching across both pathways. Dr. Dehne currently coordinates Professional Development III and Integrated Practice for the hybrid pathway and the Pain Science elective for the residential pathway. She also assists in various classes and labs throughout the physical therapy program including Movement Science and the Musculoskeletal tract. She also joined the Clinical Education team, advising students in their clinical experiences throughout the curriculum and coordinating CE II for the residential pathway. Her current research focuses on implementation of a pain science curriculum within the DPT program and exploring the use of technology for practicing various communication skills. Prior to joining the faculty at CU, Dr. Dehne worked in outpatient orthopedics, treating patients across the lifespan with a wide variety of impairments.
