Students

Our faculty support students in a myriad of ways. Our faculty are heavily invested in teaching Developing Our Clinical Skills (DOCS) and Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) students. Our faculty also hold educational leadership roles in the CU Anschutz School of Medicine.

House Staff

The Division of General Internal Medicine hosts 2 vibrant continuity clinic sites for the Internal Medicine Residency Program with a total of 60 residents.

Our primary care house staff training program is closely integrated with the Department of Medicine's categorical training program. A Division member is Associate Director of the Department of Medicine's Categorical House Staff Training Program. We have developed a unique educational program for our primary care house staff that incorporates many areas not traditionally taught in most medical educational programs. We also have a Primary Care Fellowship Program and additional opportunities for house staff to pursue either a MPH or a PhD degree should they so desire. 

Faculty

Our faculty from all sites meets at a weekly educational conference and many attend bi-weekly research conferences. We have a successful, well-developed faculty Development Fellowship Program.
