Dr. Pascoe’s scholarly efforts center around the exploration of innovative methods to teach complex concepts in human anatomy to students of healthcare professions. He focuses on active learning strategies that improve student engagement and comprehension. His work applies conceptual frameworks (e.g., cognitive load theory, constructivism) to explore the effects of integration of technology (e.g., wiki usage, enhanced photography, browser usage in anatomy lab, digital dissection guides, & social media) on learning outcomes and learner satisfaction.
