The Pediatric Emergency Department on the Anschutz Medical Campus is the region’s only Level I Regional Pediatric Trauma Center and delivers emergent care to a 7-state area.Pediatric emergency physician Julia Brant presented at the national P2 Network (PEM POCUS) conference on 5/25/21 about a multi-center collaboration on ultrasound guided fascia-iliaca blocks in the pediatric emergency department. Her presentation, "Case Series: Pediatric Ultrasound-Guided Fascia Iliaca Compartment Nerve Block", represented a collaboration with the University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics, Children's Hospital Colorado, the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto), Yale University, University of Massachusetts, and Denver Health Emergency Medicine.
