Level One Cycling raises money each year to support clinical care and research for kids
We are Level One: The Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Cycling Team! Our team represents the physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, techs, and all of the other amazing staff and professionals, family and friends who keep the Emergency Department and Network of Care Urgent care sites going strong- 24/7/365! It's true-- we see some pretty crazy things in our ED and urgent care centers, but we love taking care of people when they need us most!
The team captain is Susie McClain.
Over our 6 year history riding in the annual Courage Classic bicycle ride, we've raised nearly $270,000 in support of pediatric healthcare and we could not be more proud! In 2021, we are committing ourselves to raise another $50k to help our department continue to provide the best care to the sick and injured children who come through our doors. Your donation helps support research, education, and outreach to provide the BEST evidence-based care to children in Colorado. Thank you for your support!!!
The Section's team raises enough funds each year that a portion is earmarked for the Section's use. Much of this funding goes into an intramural grant program run by the Section: the Elevate Fund.
The ride this year will be a single-day ride at Copper Mountain on July 17. The route and registration details will be announced in the Spring of 2021.
Fundraising minimums will be the same. Team shirts, shorts, and other gear will be announced later in the season.
