University of Colorado Anschutz Cancer Center Patient Navigation

At the University of Colorado Anschutz Cancer Center, our Patient Navigation program is dedicated to guiding community members through their cancer journey through the cancer center with compassion and expertise—all at no cost to you.

Our COE patient navigators provide services to community members, including Hispanic and other underserved populations, to help them navigate the healthcare system while accessing cancer-related services. This includes connecting individuals to screening, treatment, financial assistance, and supportive resources.

While we do not enroll patients directly into clinical trials, we can provide clinical trial education to both community members and UCHealth patients to increase awareness and help improve access to research opportunities within the community.

How Our Patient Navigators Can Help:

  • Personalized Connections: We'll introduce you to our specialized oncology nurse navigators and social workers who can provide personalized care across various departments.
  • Community Resources: Access a wealth of community resources tailored to support you and your loved ones.
  • Educational Support: Learn about HPV, clinical trials, and more through our informative sessions designed to empower you with knowledge.
  • Support Networks: Join support groups that connect patients, survivors, and caregivers, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.
  • Culturally Tailored Support: Benefit from our bilingual Spanish support services, ensuring cultural sensitivity and comprehensive care for all.
Our team is here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you have the resources, information, and community connections you need. Welcome to a place where your well-being is our top priority
