The Division of Rheumatology offers the following services and expertise to our colleagues on the Anschutz Medical Campus and to researchers around the world: 

Exsera BioLabs is a unique immunology laboratory specializing in high quality and innovative testing in autoimmunity and complement, our areas of expertise. We are able to utilize this testing to advance patient diagnostics, as well assisting industry, and contributing to clinical research.  Our laboratory is regulated and licensed as a certified immunological testing site for the College of American Pathologists, CLIA, HCFA, and the State of Colorado governing agencies.

  • Autoimmunity Section of Exsera BioLabs: With a historic focus on rheumatology related testing, we have expertise in the ‘gold standard’ IFA assays that are getting rarer.  We extend this with testing for many emerging biomarkers for rheumatic disease in particular, and autoimmunity in general. For information on services and pricing, please contact 303-724-7604 or clinicalrheumlab@ucdenver.edu
  • Complement Section of Exsera BioLabs: Complement immunobiology is gaining increasing recognition for involvement disease beyond rheumatoid arthritis. Our Population and Data Sciences Core Service Center (PDSC) offers a host of services including consultative services on study design, analysis.  Our PDSC also offers a variety of samples and data on individuals with established rheumatic diseases as well as controls.  There is a focus on materials from individuals with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), pre-clinical RA, and those who have transitioned to RA; however other disease states are also available.
