Our Division’s goal for resident education is to provide a framework to the evaluation and management of inflammatory and non-inflammatory rheumatic disease, to foster trainee interest in the field of rheumatology, and to produce the next set of leaders in the field of rheumatology.
Clinical and research training opportunities exist for residents in the University of Colorado Internal Medicine training program, as well as outside institutions. For those interested in clinical training, separate rotations are available which focus either solely on outpatient care, or a hybrid rotation which includes service on the inpatient consult service as well as urgent outpatient evaluation.
Additional information for outside residents may be found by contacting the program coordinator of the University of Colorado Internal Medicine Program. Information regarding the research interests of our faculty and potential opportunities for resident involvement can be found on the Research Trainee
