Resident Information

Our Division’s goal for resident education is to provide a framework to the evaluation and management of inflammatory and non-inflammatory rheumatic disease, to foster trainee interest in the field of rheumatology, and to produce the next set of leaders in the field of rheumatology.

University of Colorado Internal Medicine Residents. Clinical and research training opportunities exist for residents in the University of Colorado Internal Medicine training program. We host internal medicine residents on a variety of clinical rotations including an inpatient consultation service at the University of Colorado and outpatient clinical rotations that include time at the Denver Health, Denver VA Medical Center, and University of Colorado, Anschutz. Information about clinical electives can be found here.

Information regarding the research interests of our faculty and potential opportunities for resident involvement can be found on the Research Trainee page .

Visiting residents We invite internal medicine residents from outside of the University of Colorado to reach out to Dr. Stichman to discuss availability. We require a minimum of 4 months notice to consider hosting a visiting resident due to paperwork requirements.
