Kristen Boyle, PhD, received the following grant

  • Sanford Center for Pediatric Research COBRE Award (Baack, M) 10/01/2024 – 09/30/2025, InvitroWOMB: A human, precision-based model to test developmental microenvironment-mediated metabolic disease susceptibility.  The goal of this study is to advance the development of a model designed to use umbilical cord tissue and blood samples, which would typically be discarded after birth, to predict a baby’s risk of future disease and then guide personalized interventions that improve their health over their lifetime.  Role: Co-investigator
