Interests within GI/Career Goals: Transplant hepatology, General GI, Medical Education and QI

Hobbies: Anything that allows me to spend time in nature with my Husband (Garrett) and Son (River) including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, trail running, fly fishing, gardening. I also love cooking and hosting dinners for my family and friends.

Favorite Thing about Living in Colorado: The friendships I have built while in residency at the University of Colorado, as well as my neighborhood (Skyland) which is close to so many fun places to explore.

Interests within GI/Career Goals: I love research! During my PhD, I studied the effect of the microbiome on hepatic metabolism and susceptibility to oxidative liver injury. My career goal is to be an academic physician-scientist and run a basic science research lab. My clinical interests include hepatology and IBD.

Hobbies: Cooking, adventuring in the mountains with my wife and dogs, ultrarunning, gravel biking, podcasting

Hobbies: I love all the outdoor things: running, hiking, skiing. I am an avid sports fan, namely a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, and women's basketball buff. My new favorite adventure is spending time with my husband, pup and our baby girl, Charli.

Favorite Thing about Living in Colorado: The proximity to nature while still having all the city vibes with countless restaurants, coffee shops and breweries. I also love the endless sunshine that allows for outdoor activities all year long. Last but not least, being close to my family!

Favorite Thing about Living in Colorado: What I’ve loved most about living in Colorado is the scenery, all the great running trails, and how welcoming people have been. Getting to know my colleagues has been a highlight, as they’ve made the transition to fellowship feel easy, and the faculty have been just as approachable and supportive.
