Live Cell Imaging in S3 Incucytes

Incucyte fast-tracks scientific discovery by combining lab-tested protocols and reagents with powerful, automated image acquisition and analysis.  With Incucyte’s user-friendly interface and robust instrument portfolio, any cell biologist can gain dynamic insights into the health, morphology, movement and function of their cell models.  With the incucyte the cells can be analyzed for days, weeks or even months as they sit stationary in the stable environment of the tissue culture incubator.  Find more information here: https://www.essenbioscience.com/en/products/incucyte/incucyte-s3/

The CTSR has two S3 Incucytes for your use to collect images and data about your cells.  The S3 Incucyte has three objectives (4x,10x, and 20x), three channels (HD phase, green, and red fluorescence), and six positions for scanning.  With the incucyte the cells can be analyzed for days, weeks or even months as they sit stationary in the stable environment of the tissue culture incubator.  The modules available are Scratch Wound, Dilution Cloning, Chemotaxis, Spheroid, Neuro Track, Organoid, Angiogenesis and Cell by Cell to assist in those assays.

Incucyte Modules available on CTSR Incucytes

Standard Module – Enables the analyses of phase and fluorescent applications, such as cell-health assays, phagocytosis, and immune cell killing models.

Image Lock Module – Enables precise, scan-to scan  repeat imaging of the same field of view for long-term, live-cell movies.

Scratch Wound Module – Measure label-free or fluorescent cell migration and invasion in 96-well Scratch Wound assay using the IncuCyte ImageLock plate.

Whole Well Module – Acquire whole well images of select multi-well and 35mm dishes to enable monitoring and analysis of rare events within a cell population.

Dilution Cloning Module – Automatically identify wells containing clones and track colony formation over time. Enable whole well images in 96- ad 384-well microplates.

Organoid Module – Acquire images of organoid cultures in select 24-well and 48-well plates to quantify growth in Matrigel Domes.

Chemotaxis Module – Measure label-free and fluorescently-labeled chemotactic cell migration in a 96-well format acquired using the ClearView 96-Well Chemotaxis Plate.
