Analysis datasets must be cleaned and in a format ready for analysis. All datasets should be provided as either REDCap databases or CSV (comma-separated values) files. When available, raw data used to generate calculated analysis variables should
also be provided.
Any data received will be stored on a password protected, encrypted University server. Any current Biostatistics member will have access to study data. Data will only be accessed as it relates to the scope of analysis required for the project. All Biostatistics members maintain current HIPPA and CITI certifications, follow core policies around data security and safety, and only access data when required for work related responsibilities. Biostatistics data storage policies follow COMIRB recommended practices.
As data will be stored on a shared server, it is the PI's responsibility to communicate any data destruction plans that need to be carried out for regulatory compliance of the current project.
