Cancer biology/ Pediatric sarcomas
University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
Our laboratory’s overarching goal is to identify, understand and target new molecular pathways critical to the development and progression of common pediatric sarcomas. Most of our work focuses on Ewing Sarcoma, but we also investigate rhabdomyosarcoma and osteosarcoma. Currently, much of our focus is on epigenetic pathways controlling disease metastasis. For more information, please see our lab web page: https://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/medicalschool/departments/Pathology/research/Pages/jedlickalab.aspx
We use a variety of molecular techniques, in vitro cell culture and assays, and mouse xenograft models, to understand gene/pathway function, mechanisms of action and pharmacologic targeting.
