Lucy is a dedicated Community Health Worker involved in the Family Matters Study. She holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Spanish from Regis University, complemented by a master's degree from Western University in Pomona, CA, where she gained extensive experience working with ethnically and socioeconomically diverse populations.
Passionate about community outreach, Lucy focuses on fostering connections within the Hispanic community in Colorado and promoting children's wellbeing and health through education. She actively contributes to the Women in STEM Leadership Committee at CU Anschutz, emphasizing mentorship and outreach initiatives across the Denver metro area schools.
During her free time, Lucy finds joy in exploring new breweries with her partner and hiking with her dog.
