Mark Brittan is a pediatric hospitalist at Children's Hospital Colorado. He completed his medical training at Chicago Medical School and pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He joined the faculty at Children’s Hospital in 2003 and completed a Primary Care Research fellowship and MPH at the University of Colorado in 2011. He is a health services researcher with focus on hospital to home transitions and readmissions, social determinants of health, and predictive modeling of pediatric healthcare utilization and clinical outcomes. His research focuses mainly on children with medical complexity and children with asthma.
