Dr. Elizabeth Kudron is an associate professor in the Departments of Biomedical Informatics and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz. She completed medical school at the University of New Mexico and pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Kudron practiced pediatrics in the private practice setting while completing her Master’s in Public Health in Health Systems Management at the University of Colorado (CU). She recognized the potential of personalized and precision medicine to transform healthcare and joined the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM) in 2018. She currently serves as associate director for program education for the CCPM and co-directs CU’s Personalized and Genomic Medicine Graduate Certificate Program as part of this role. Clinically, Dr. Kudron provides care at the Child Health Clinic, the primary care site for Children’s Hospital Colorado, where she serves as associate clinic medical director and medical director of informatics. Her academic and clinical interests focus on the integration of informatics, quality improvement, and patient safety to advance personalized medical care.
