• Purpose:
  Friday Research Talks are opportunities for lab members to present their work in a short seminar (20-25 minutes).
• There are two speakers per session.
• FRTs are a good chance for new people to “introduce” themselves to BMG (e.g. a new PD talks about their PhD work), and trainees to get practice and feedback in front of a friendly crowd.
• FRTs are often not completed stories - speakers can discuss a new and untested idea, to outline an unsolved problem, to brainstorm an approach that is not yet working, or for an update.
