Colorado Program for Patient-Centered Decisions (Core/Program)

Directed by Dan D. Matlock, MD, MPH

The Colorado Program for Patient-Centered Decisions is located at the Adult and Child Center for Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS). This collaboration takes a broad view of shared decision-making and brings together multidisciplinary expertise in the development of materials, measurement of outcomes, and implementation into practice settings. This group currently consists of 4 core principle investigators and 7 research assistants and has been successful in obtaining funding from foundations, the NIH, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.

Mission Statement

Our goal is to empower patients and clinicians to make patient-centered decisions, to develop evidence-based tools and strategies to support those decisions, and to foster healthcare culture change.
