Mikayla Viny is a Research Services Professional for the Patient-Centered Decisions Core. She has been in research since 2020 and joined ACCORDS after graduating with her MPH in Epidemiology from CU Anschutz in 2024. Mikayla's research interests include healthy aging, heart failure management, and caregiver support. Prior to joining ACCORDS, Mikayla worked on research projects related to post-traumatic epilepsy and dementia injury prevention. Her current work focuses on shared decision-making for patients with advanced heart failure and patients considering heart transplantation.
