Carol earned her BA in Marketing and Publicity from the University Latina of Costa Rica. Carol joined ACCORDS in 2015 as a Professional Research Assistant, and has worked on a variety of projects focusing on early childhood education, child screen use, and injury prevention. Carol has experience doing home visits and phone interviews and is well versed in community-based programs and research. Before joining ACCORDS, she worked for a non-profit organization that provides services for Latinos and vulnerable populations. Carol has over 10 years of experience serving the Latino community.

Carol is currently pursuing her MBA which does not leave a lot of free time. When she does have free time she enjoys exercising, gardening and traveling, most often to Costa Rica to visit her family.
