Chloe Glaros (Auletta-Young) received her MPH and MSW from Boston University in 2014 and her BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA in 2008. Her master's thesis investigated programs available to survivors of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Chloe has a background in sexual health education, and has volunteered in Los Angeles and Tanzania as a HIV/AIDS prevention educator. Chloe got her start in research administration with the Boston University Medical Center and has since worked at the Harvard School of Public Health and UC Davis. She has worked on projects related to resilience during armed conflict, HIV/AIDS, and state hospitalization. Chloe’s experience as a Clinical Social Worker has focused on school-based counseling with children and adolescents. Throughout her time in both research and social work, Chloe gained a passion for qualitative methods as a way to understand human experience. She joined the Qualitative and Mixed Methods Core as a Senior PRA in 2021. In her free time, Chloe enjoys traveling, writing, listening to podcasts, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
