We are offering participants who joined the Biobank before October 2019 to update their study consent. The updated consent form has new information about:

• The purpose of the Biobank research study
• Your rights as a participant
• The types of people, institutions and companies we may partner with and share data
• The possibility for the Biobank to return some genetic results to participants’ health record if they become available

If you signed a Biobank consent before October 2019, we will be contacting you through My Health Connection (MHC), the patient portal for UCHealth, to invite you to update your consent. If you do not have a MHC account, we will attempt to contact you by email or mail. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

If at any time you wish to withdraw from the Biobank, you can do so by submitting a request form online.
